MEC ART
The main purpose of MEC Art is to help individuals express themselves through art, allowing them to convey personal thoughts and emotions.
Additionally, it aims to demonstrate how God can communicate through art to transform and heal both the artist and the viewers.
“His Touch” exhibition
This event was created to give the chance to passionate Christian artists to display the glory of God through their art. It provided a powerful opportunity for them to declare God's message to their own communities and beyond!
Throughout centuries, and even to this day, art has been a powerful medium to inspire generations.
More specifically, it creates the ideal opportunity for the viewer to experience the love and character of the Lord Jesus Christ when combined with the beauty and profundity of the gospel message.
This is what the Lord put on our hearts: "The heavens display the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands" (Psalms 19:1).
MEC Art Classes
We offer art classes that are free of charge, with the participant's talent as their entry fee.
These classes are set to begin in November 2023.
It encourages artists to incorporate the Bible and their personal experiences as references for their artistic creations. This implies that the artworks have a spiritual theme, drawing inspiration from Scripture.
It also seeks to provide knowledge about how art is used in the world and help participants develop their artistic techniques and skills. This creates a focus on both creativity and technical proficiency.
The program encourages the exploration of various art forms, including painting, still-life drawing, rendering techniques, and more.
MEC Arts draws inspiration from faith, using art as a means to connect with God on a deeper level. It is described as a supportive community for artists of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned artists.
Overall, MEC Art is an initiative that aims to foster creativity, artistic development, and a deeper spiritual connection through art based on our faith in Christ.
