Established by Horizons in 2019, MEC equips local churches to send missionaries and offers training programs to develop essential ministry skills.
It also provides a collaborative platform for believers and churches to maximize their impact.
MEC Creative trains 100+ student interns in music, art, and design, fostering strategic thinking and visual problem-solving.
We host diverse events for believers and churches, including evangelistic outreaches and empowering local believers, plus art exhibitions by Lebanese Christian artists.
Its purpose is to train believers who want to learn how to play music. Our professional teachers show them what praise and worship principles are through piano, guitar and drum lessons.
Examples of such events include musical outreaches, an inter-denominational worship song contest called Sawti Ilak (“My Voice is Yours”)
MEC Arts in Lebanon promotes faith-based art through art exhibitions, free classes, professional learning, and internships.
In February 2023, the "His Touch" exhibition was a testament to how the glory of God, through art, can provide a powerful opportunity for Christian artists to declare God's message to their own communities and beyond!
Now, in late 2023, new art classes with various skill levels have begun, continuing to empower artists to express their faith in Christ.
Our MEC Design Team is committed to nurturing design talents and incorporating them into our mission. We offer various opportunities for growth and collaboration.
We collaborate with other ministries, churches, and companies, providing support for their design needs as well as creating an atmosphere of serving through design for our team.
Our hardworking design team, many of whom started as interns and have now been offered full-time positions to continue serving with us, exemplifies the success of our program.

Three years ago, our design team took a bold step and established "MEC Merch."
This venture involves printing biblical truths on various products such as mugs, t-shirts, coasters, water bottles, and more.

Its mission is to empower believers in effectively sharing the gospel and nurturing new converts who, in turn, will become disciple-makers.
We accomplish this through training and guidance on evangelism and discipleship strategies tailored for Muslims and nominal Christians.
Moreover, we offer practical experiences for sharing the gospel in diverse settings and applying these lessons to everyday life.
Across Lebanon, our unwavering commitment to services and discipleship, guided by Brother Joseph, remains constant throughout the year. We also benefit from insightful visits by Pastor George Houssney, the founder and president of Horizons International.
Under Brother Joseph's expert guidance, the Coaching Department has initiated coaching sessions for the School of Hope, Tripoli, and Communication Teams, fostering personal and professional growth among our staff.
Our teams are equipped for success through engaging conferences and training programs, such as EQ & DISC. The MEC Leadership coaching team is actively supporting our staff, and the ongoing EQ, 360, A to B, and KPI sessions continue throughout the year.
In the Coaching Department, EQ & DISC training with Coach Joseph Nabil aids our staff in honing their skills and personal development, all aligned with MEC's mission and vision..
MEC Care provides hands-on biblical counseling training, embodying the love, care, and compassion of Jesus, our shepherd and counselor.
Our expert instructors are dedicated to the unwavering guidance of the infallible Word of God, striving to align the thoughts of those seeking counsel with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
In October 2020, the MEC Language Academy of Beirut (MEC LAB) was established in Bourj Hammoud in partnership with dedicated believers. They contributed to renovating the space and training our Arabic teachers.
The MEC LAB's ongoing marketing campaign has attracted 14 active students for Arabic language studies, both in person and via Zoom.
The program facilitates their transition to Lebanon, enabling community engagement, language acquisition, and cultural immersion.
Our first MEC HOOPS sessions, led by Coach Daniel Baghdadian, took place in October at the Skills Sports Center in Bsalim, Lebanon.
These sessions were offered free of charge to encourage those interested to fully register! Sessions take place every Tuesday & Saturday.
We realize not every family can afford the costs associated with sport so we offer our new basketball club, at a fee of just $10 per month.
Our hope is that through MEC HOOPS and other future initiatives we can make sports accessible to everyone regardless of their circumstance.
Our goal is to ensure that every talent finds its purpose in serving others.
